The war has reached a critical stage. The White Knight forces have been pushed back to a small corner in the southern part of the continent. Almost all elven settlements have fallen, leaving the remaining elves to fight the Imperial Army from a few isolated outposts.
An Imperial Army squad captured the daughter of a local noble in White Knight territory. They decided to take a risky detour northward, bypassing the elven watchtowers, crossing through the forest, and returning to the mountain pass fortress to report back.
