Rural Summer: Those Gentle Women

Nineteen-year-old Jie Ran is sent back to his childhood home in the countryside by his mother, where he stays at a guesthouse run by his mother's friend, Gui Xin, to spend a summer vacation learning how to be independent. Gui Xin, the guesthouse owner; Lan Jiao, who runs a supermarket; Wan Ju, the eldest sister who teaches at a school; and Mei Qin, the second sister who runs a hair salon—four women with distinct personalities—gradually enter his summer life, and this hot and long summer quietly unfolds.
